The series and NT and NSHD pumps are suitable for handling liquids containing no abrasive particles and which do not chemically affect the pump construction materials.
Both series of pumps are used extensively in all aspects of industry and agricultural; for example, water supply, heating, cooling and circulation pants, industrial non-aggressive liquid movement , irrigation, water storage, washdowns etc.
End suction centrifugal pumps according to DIN 24255
Applications:
Water supply & water treatment
Irrigation
Air conditioning
Dedusting
Spray painting
Sprinkler installations
Heating & cooling
Circulation systems
Swimming pools
Design:
Series NT pumps have been designed with a back pull-out bracket feature allowing the bracket o be withdrawn without disconnecting motor or pipe work. Main dimensions, and hydraulic performance according to DIN 24255. Series NSHD pumps have the shaft located with a heavy duty bearing pedestal instead of a bearing bracket, supported by a double row angular contact bearing, which enables these pumps to be belt driven. The nominal performance and the main dimensions of this series, except for the centre line height and the foot dimensions, are as for series NT.
Construction:
The pumps of both series are single or two stage end suction centrifugal pups with volute casing and overhung impellers. Hydraulic thrust balance is effected by balance holes in the impeller. The standard design is equipped with a soft packed stuffing box. If working conditions require, special packing or external flush or internal standard mechanical seal can be Fitted as an extra. NT series have axial suction flanges and radial vertically upwards discharge flanges. Mounting feet are cast onto the volute casings. Shafts run in two identical greased lubricated ball bearings in the bearing bracket (530 brackets only are fitted with a support foot).
NS series have axial suction flanges and 360/470 pedestal units can have the radial discharge in the positions shown under NS Pump Dimensions (on 530 pedestals the NT type volute is used). Shafts run on heavy duty angular contact V belt drives. Oil lubricated bearings are standard but grease lubricated bearings can be supplied on request.
