Speeds up to 3500 1/min

Design:
Casing: The stage casing are sealed against each other by means of an O-ring and secured by external casing bolts.

Feet are fitted to suction and delivery casing (pipeline forces are passed directly into base plate and foundation), stage casings are designed without feet.

Branch positions
The suction branch is positioned horizontally to the right (viewed from the drive end) and the discharge branch vertically upwards.

Hydraulic and compensation for axial thrust
A modular design allows complete interchangeability of inter-stage components. Axial trust is compensated by individual impeller axial thrust balance holes.

Bearing and lubrication
Grease lubricated, grooved ball bearings are arranged on each side of the bearing housing brackets to absorb any residual forces. Bearings are kept in position at all times by means of a spring wave washer.

Shaft Sealing
The shaft is sealed by stuffing boxes (uncooled) with graphite/ asbestos packing rings. Uncooled mechanical seal arrangements are available as an alternative. The selection of gland/ mechanical sealing arrangements is determined by pump performance duties.

Pressure relief
For stuffing box types by means of a relief return line from the delivery side gland to the suction side, as require by pump duty. Flushing of mechanical seal types by means of by-passed line from the discharged side seal chamber to the solution side seal chamber.

Shaft protection sleeves
Replaceable sleeves are fitted to the gland/ mechanical seal area.

Flange, drives, direction of rotation
Flanges are rated to DIN standards (suction flanges PN 16/DIN 2533, delivery flanges PN40/DIN 2535). Pumps are driven from the suction end and the direction of rotation is clockwise (viewed from the drive end).
